Pimientos de Padron

Charred peppers, lots of olive oil, a little salt, and an extremely hot pan. These are the four things that you need to make your new favourite snack for the summer.

Ingredients

Pimientos de Padron

200g

Olive oil

20ml

Flaky salt

1 tbsp

Kitchen Stuff

Cast iron pan

Directions

  • Heat your cast iron pan. Check to see if it is hot enough by dripping some water in the pan. If it starts sizzling the pan is hot enough and you can add in the oil (make sure the water is evaporated before you put the oil in).
  • When both the pan and the oil are steaming hot, drop in your peppers. Char on all sides, this will take about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer to a plate and top with your salt. Enjoy!
